- CALL FOR ENTRIES
The Museum of Church History and Art announces a call for entries for its "Fifth International Art Competition and Exhibit." The competition is open to all members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints age 18 and over. Media may include quilts, embroidery, textiles, pottery, ceramics, jewelry, wood carving, photography, metal work, sculpture, drawing, prints, painting, etc. Entries must have been completed since Jan. 1, 1997. The Utah Arts Council announces that guidelines and applications are now available for grants to help nonprofit organizations fund arts-related activities. Surface, an independent, nonprofit art organization created to support, promote and develop a progressive arts community in Utah, announces a call for entries for its mentoring program. The program is open to all developing or emerging artists who have had no or little show experience and have yet to fully establish an artistic style.
