Fifteen people were inside the Singer compound during the 13-day standoff with police 10 years ago. They are:
Vickie Singer, 54, John Singer's widow and the matriarch of the extended family still living on the two-acre Marion compound. She served 2 1/2 years in prison for her role in the 1988 bombing of an LDS Church before returning home. She remarried in 1991.Addam Swapp, 37, married to Vickie Singer's two daughters, Heidi and Charlotte, has completed about 10 years of his 17-year federal sentence for bombing the church. He then faces one to 15 years on state manslaughter charges. His federal charges are on appeal.
Heidi Singer Swapp, 33, one of Addam Swapp's two wives. She is the mother of five of Addam Swapp's children, all of whom were in the compound during the standoff. They are Anazella Swapp, 16, Vanya Swapp, 15, Hans Swapp, 13, Isaiah Swapp, 12, and Lillian Swapp, 11. No divorce is on record with Summit County, but family sources say Heidi has since started another family. She still lives in the Marion compound.
Charlotte Singer Swapp, 29, Addam Swapp's second wife and the mother of Addam's son John Swapp, 11, still lives in the Marion complex while awaiting Addam's release from prison.
John Timothy Singer, 31, completed his 10-year federal sentence for the bombing last year and is now serving his one-to-15-year state sentence at a federal facility in Arizona.
Jonathan Swapp, 31, Addam Swapp's brother, was married in November 1988 in a jail-house ceremony while awaiting trial. He completed his federal sentence on the bombing charge in October 1996 and then served the remaining seven months of his state sentence on a state negligent homicide charge in the Summit County Jail. He and his wife, Ann, now live in Phoenix.
Joseph Hyrum Singer, 27, and Hans Benjamin Singer, 25, are Vickie Singer's other sons. Hans was granted immunity from prosecution but was incarcerated for a short time after being found in contempt of court for not testifying against his mother.
