Dustin Johnson, 19, passed away October 3, 1998, with his close friend in an automobile accident.
He was born September 24, 1979 in Bountiful, Utah, the son of Ray and Diane Johnson. Dustin was a recent graduate of Viewmont High School where he excelled in football and soccer.He was a very talented woodworker and was an apprentice of Woodbury Fine Woodworking. He loved his job and his employer, Morgan Blackham. Dustin's two favorite things in life were his family and friends. When he was not camping, dancing, or playing athletics with his friends, he was spending time with his two nephews Payton and Cole and the rest of his family. Dustin will be missed for his humor, loving nature, kindness and talents.
His mom will miss him coming home from work with his curly hair and big smile. He was the best son, brother, grandson, uncle, friend and role model a person could be. He was loved by all and has now moved on to a new stage of life.
He is survived by his parents, Ray and Diane Johnson; brother Shawn (Kim); two sisters, Chandee (Jason) Palmer and Sunny; grandmother, Dot Bailey; two nephews, Payton Ken and Cole Dustin. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, October 9, 1998 at the Bountiful 50th Ward Chapel, 33 South Moss Hill Drive (1500 East). Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Friday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment-Lakeview Cemetery
