Herbert John Gleave, age 87, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away November 24, 1998.
Born May 21, 1911 in Annabella, Utah to Frank and Partha Ann Davis Gleave, married Edith L. Poole on February 28, 1934, in the Manti LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church having served as a temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple and as the Young Mens president.Survived by three daughters: Janet Walden and Marjorie (Kent) Peterson, Idaho Falls, ID; Gina (Randy) Kluge, Salt Lake City; brother, Robert Gleave, Annabella, UT. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Edith P. Gleave, 1995, and daughter, Myrna Rowberry, 1971.
His warmth and kindness will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 28, 1998 at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (Vista Section), 3401 South Highland Drive. Friends may call at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary from 11:45 to 12:45 prior to services. Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
