Sheri Rae Lindsey Favorita, age 27, our beloved daughter, sister, and friend, died November 1, 1998 in a tragic manner, in Santa Barbara, California.

Born December 25, 1970 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Parents, L. Ferrin Lindsey and Janice Eggett Lindsey. Mother, Lea Rae Eldredge Lindsey preceded her in death in 1970. Married Don Favorita 1997. Member LDS Church. Graduate of East High School, attended U of U.Sheri's life was always one of purpose. She was one of those people we see on the street and remember in a deeper way than this earth will let us. She was an angel among us. Her smile lit up every room she entered and her laugh can still be heard. Her heart was larger than life, and she always had the eyes to see. She looked forward to a reunion with her mother who she never had the chance to know in this lifetime and to board the hills with Brad who left us on one of his rides. She loved her family and friends deeper than many of us realize. Her love was and always will be true! We love you Sheri and will miss your spunky ways more than we even know!

Survived by her parents and the following brothers and sisters, Mark (Liz), Gary (Jan), David, Paul (Kathryn), Kathy (Joe), Todd, Greg, Becky, Amy, Brent, Bryan and Jon; nieces and nephews, Krystal, Alexandra, Colton, Hunter, Connor, Patrick, Madeline and Brooklyn; grandparents, Evalyn Smith and Gretta Eggett, and Edna Haymore who filled the role of mother during her first year and that love continued. Preceded in death by a brother, Brad.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 9, 1998, 12 noon, Monument Park Stake Center, 1320 So. Wasatch Dr. (2500 E.). Viewing Sunday evening 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300 So. and at the ward Monday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the Battered Womens Shelter, c/o YWCA, 322 E. 3rd So., SLC 84111.
