A 2-1 ruling by a panel of the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis on Monday reinstates a decision it made nearly two years ago in a dispute between a church and a federal bankruptcy trustee. The church's lawyers had said it should keep tithing money from a couple who were members of the church before they filed for bankruptcy.
