Micron Technology Inc., has announced the appointment of former Texas Instruments vice chairman William P. (Pat) Weber to its board of directors.

Weber was president of Texas Instruments worldwide semiconductor business from 1986 until 1993. He was elected vice chairman of the company in 1993 and retired in April."We are pleased to be adding another industry leader to our board of directors," said Steve Appleton, chairman, CEO and president of Micron Technology Inc.
