Scott Brandon Neely, age 24, passed away August 23, 1998.

Born November 9, 1973 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Kenneth G. and Margaret Falk Neely. Scott worked for Gold Cross Ambulance Company as an intermediate E.M.T. He also spent his time volunteering at the U of U Hospital emergency room.Scott attended West Jordan High and was captain of the swimming team. He also participated in various other sports and clubs. He played an active role in the Civil Air Patrol throughout high school. After graduation, Scott received an ROTC Scholarship studying Pre- Med/Biology at Illinois Institute of Technology. Upon his return to Utah, he taught as a teaching assistant at the Jordan District Tech Center's E.M.T and worked part-time for the Wendover Ambulance Company in Nevada.

Scott had a passion for the outdoors: hiking, repelling, flying, SCUBA, and swimming. These were things that he very much loved to do.

Scott is survived by his parents, Margaret Falk and Kenneth Neely; sisters, Erika and Bo; brother, Chris; and extended family. He will be missed by the people he touched in his life.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, 1 p.m., at the First Congregational Church, 2150 S. Foothill Drive, with Reverend Dave Barnes conducting.

In lieu of flowers, Scott's family requests donations be made to the Emergency International, Inc., 6600 York Road, Suite 105, Baltimore, MD 21212.
