Beloved mother, grandmother, wife and friend, Ragnhild Marion, 62, passed away August 3, 1998.
She was born in Copenhagen, Denmark May 17, 1936 to Rudolf Karl and Esther Marie Hendriksen. After joining the LDS Church she came to Utah. She married Norris Arnold in 1958 and later divorced. She married Thamor Marion on November 14, 1986.In addition to raising four children, she worked 32 years for Mountain States Bindery, was active in her church and completed much genealogy and temple work. She enjoyed traveling, knitting and crocheting and before rheumatoid arthritis invaded her body, ballroom dancing.
In spite of the many health problems she had throughout her life, Ragnhild had a fun-loving, cheerful disposition and a clever sense of humor that drew people close to her. She fought valiantly against her illnesses, but lost the battle to severe bronchiactesis. She was cherished by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband, Thamor; children, Roy (Marni) Arnold, Phoenix, Arizona; Elaine (Ron) Pomikala, Kearns, Utah; Tina (Darin) Evans, West Jordan, Utah; Kim (Charles) Barton, Monticello, Utah; step-children, Becky (Devar) Cluff, Sherwood, Oregon; Jack (Dawna) Marion, Midvale, Utah; Aleta (Alan) Wood, Ogden, Utah; Aneta (Rodney) Clawson, Sandy, Utah; Steven Wayne (GayLynn) Marion, Sandy, Utah. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 25 step-grandchildren and 25 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be held Friday, August 7, 1998 at 11 a.m., Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. Where friends and family may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, one hour prior to service. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates.
