Don Gobel, a 33-year veteran of the hunting and shooting sports in-dustry, is stepping down as president of Browning and U.S. Repeating Arms Co. but will remain as chief executive officer. He said he will focus on worldwide strategic direction and policy.
Charles Guevremont will take over the day-to-day operations of Browning/USRAC America as president and chief operating offi-
cer. Guevrement, the former vice president of sales for the firm, will continue to handle all sales responsibilities.
Chris Oswald has been named senior vice president for the company's outdoor products division. He has been vice president of the division since 1987.
Gobel recently saw three key

"We have our game plan in place and this team is ready and eager to execute it. It's a good feeling to have total confidence that we have such a strong team in place ready to take over," Gobel said.
