CENTERVILLE--An awesome husband, father, son, brother, and friend returned to his Heavenly Father on September 30, 1999 after a courageous three year battle with melanoma at the age of 32.Robert Todd Hutchinson was born in Bountiful, Utah to Robert G. and Linda Freer Hutchinson. He married Jodi Fraser on February 12, 1988. Todd graduated from Viewmont High School in 1985, Dixie College in 1987, and the University of Utah in 1993.
Without a doubt, Todd's greatest joy and accomplishments were his two children, Chance and Sydney. His Dolly and Best Bud will cherish his love and memory forever.
Todd was an athlete and avid sports fan. He spent many hours playing softball, basketball, and football with close friends, brothers, and cousins. He spent many enjoyable hours coaching his son and friends. Todd had a true love and loyalty for the University of Utah and never missed a Ute football and basketball game.
Survivors include: his wife, Jodi; son, Chance (11) and daughter, Sydney (6), Centerville, Utah; parents, Robert G. and Linda Hutchinson, Bountiful, Utah; brothers, Troy (Jennifer) Hutchinson, Salt Lake City, Utah; Trent (Heather) Hutchinson, Centerville, Utah; grandparents, Glenn and Gladys Hutchinson, Bountiful, Utah; father and mother-in-law, Jack and Lolly Fraser, Magna, Utah; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Janet Fraser, Taylorsville, Utah; Steve and Julie Sandoval, West Jordan, Utah; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Grant E. Freer and Lucille Freer Underwood.
An open house honoring Todd will be held at the Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 East, on Sunday, October 3, 1999 from 6-7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held October 4, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the Parrish Heights Ward Chapel, 610 Rowland Way, Centerville, Utah. No viewing prior to funeral services. Interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
