Don Miller, age 63 passed away Tues., Nov. 30, 1999 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born June 19, 1936 in Oakland, CA, son of Carl and Evelyn Gomes Miller. He grew up in CA. Served his country in the 508th Airborne Infantry Combat Group, 101st Airborne Div., during the Korean Conflict.On Dec. 31, 1960 he married Walda Bostwick in Reno, NV.
Since retiring from the Unisys Corp. Don has been able to pursue his hobby of woodworking. He loved spending time with his family, especially the times they had together while camping at Oneida. He is preceded in death by his parents, aunts, uncles, and father-in-law.
Survivors include his loving wife Walda Miller; daughter, Cyndi and her husband Bruce Kendall; two grandchildren, Clay "Bud", and Carly "Rosebud" Kendall; mother-in-law, Elizabeth "Nonnie" Bostwick; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Michelle and Steve Andersen and their children; Aunt Vivian Conceicao of CA; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Mon., Dec. 6, 1999, 11 a.m. at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 N. Main St., Heber City, UT. Friends may call Sunday, Dec. 5, from 6-8 p.m. at Valley View Mortuary, 4335 W 4100 So., West Valley City, UT, and Mon. from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at the Heber City Cemetery, Heber City, UT.
