Infinia Health Care, a Utah health-care management company, has acquired controlling interest in Bonneville Health Systems, operator of the facility formerly known as the Doxey-Hatch Medical Center.

Infinia, organized in 1997 by Scott Robertson and Alan W. Cottle, acquired 75 percent of the medical center as part of Bonneville's reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. The property has been underused for the past nine years, Robertson said. "We see it as becoming the crown jewel in the mid-Salt Lake Valley health-care market."

The 180-bed facility has been renamed the Infinia Medical Center.
