Fontella Wardle Kemp, 86, passed away February 28, 1999.
She was born December 31, 1912 in Roosevelt, Utah to William Wallace and Verda Allred Wardle. She married Burdett Marsh Turnbow, they were later divorced. She married Davis (Mark) Marcus Kemp, November 30, 1936, their marriage was later solemnized on January 18, 1992 in the LDS Jordan RiverTemple.
She loved the outdoors, traveling, boating, camping, reading, gardening. She worked in the school lunch program for 13 years.
Survived by children, Renee (Hyrum) Deters; Dot (Dave) Butterfield; Jim (Helen); 21 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby Estes, Carma Nessen, and Lita Larsen. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Mark, daughter, Connie Matern, great grandchild, Marylee Gilliam, two brothers, two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 4, 1999 at 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Road. Family and friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services Thursday at Redwood Memorial Estates.
