The adult rock music of KUMT ("The Mountain," FM-105.7) disappeared over the weekend and was replaced by 1970s pop music and a name change -- KCPX.

General Manager Pat Reedy said KUMT had never been focused enough in the overloaded Wasatch Front radio market and also never attracted a sizable audience.As of Saturday, all KUMT DJs were fired except for Trish Griffith, who will remain as an evening personality. Reedy said she was the only DJ to fit the new format of music that ranges from 1968 to 1980.
