Known in Washington D.C. as Apostle John C. Zahos, where he unexpectedly passed away of natural causes February 28, 1999.

John was born October 10, 1960 to Carl "Chicago Charley" and Freda Zahos. John will be remembered for his bold irrepressible nature and intelligence, his sense of humor and ability to survive overwhelming odds. His common salutation was "To God be the Glory." He spent the last six years on his "Mission to the White House" where he preached and carried his signs that said "God bless President Clinton," and "Jesus is the Christ, son of the living God."John is survived by his mother; sisters, Sylvia Forbis, Tina Zahos; niece, Tasha Marie Forbis; and longtime personal advocate, Stephen Holbrook. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, George; and sister, Annie. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 8, 1999, at 4 p.m. at the Midvale City Cemetery, 450 West 7500 South.
