Kay Lynn Lambert Woodford, whose bright, vibrant spirit touched so many, passed from her vale of tears into a joyous reunion with her babies on April 16, 1999, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Sharen and Reuben Lambert welcomed their first child into the world on October 17, 1961, and named her Kay Lynn. She attended Cottonwood High School and Utah State University. Her gregarious personality forged many life-long friendships. She married Michael Robert Woodford on March 11, 1982 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. To this union were born six children: Trevor, 16; Jason, 13; Melanie, 10; Andrew, deceased; Andrea, 6; and Brittany, deceased. Her husband and children will deeply miss the constant joy Kay brought into their lives.She is also survived by her parents, Reuben and Sharen Kay Baird Lambert, sister, Barbara Lee Stacey, (Michael); sister, Dorothy Williams, (Michael); brother, James, (Sandi); sister, Sherry Lambert, (Marc Snow); brother, Paul, (Stephannie); her father-in-law, Richard Woodford, (Fran); mother-in-law Irene Woodford Gayheart; brother-in-law, Corey Woodford, (Mary); sisters-in-law, Robyn Rollins, (David); Dauna Woodford, (John Brijs); numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 1999 in the Stone Ridge Ward Chapel, 12120 South 1300 West. Friends may call at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 south Highland Drive on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and at the ward on Thursday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
