Henry White, a chemistry professor at the University of Utah, is being honored by the Society of Electroanalytical Chemistry with its coveted Charles N. Reilly Memorial Award.

Given annually to an active researcher who has made major contributions to the field of electroanalytical chemistry, the award is the society's most prestigious.White, 42, is the youngest scientist ever to receive the award, which the society will give in March 2000 at the annual PittConn conference in New Orleans. White has been on the U. faculty since 1993.
