PRICE--Irene Kontas Kolovich, age 69, died August 10, 1999 at Davis Medical Center in Layton, Utah.
Born August 26, 1929 in Helper, Utah. Daughter of Mike and Katherine Charalambakis Kontas. Married Eli Kolovich on November 10, 1957 in Price, Utah. Member Greek Orthodox Church. Attended Helper Junior High and graduated from Carbon High in 1948.Retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1987 afer 20 years of federal service. Active member of Beth Arabah Chapter #24, O.E.S., Clearfield, Utah, where she held many positions.
Survived by: husband, Eli Kolovich of Clearfield, Utah; sister, Christine Saccomanno of Helper, Utah; sister-in-law, Anna Kontas of Salt Lake City, Utah; six nieces and one nephew; Cindy, Terri, Kathy, Kim, Elaine, Mariann, and Helen. Preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Johnny, and two sisters, Mary and
Helen.
Funeral service Saturday, August 14, 1999 at 2 p.m., Greek Orthodox Church, Price, Utah. Trisagion service Friday, August 13, 1999 at 7 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Friends are welcome at Mitchell's daily from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Interment Price City Cemetery.
