Betty Sue Ross, 77, of Sun City West, AZ, formerly of Salt Lake City, passed away on August 30, 1999.

Born in Shreveport, LA in 1922, Betty Sue graduated from LSU in May, 1942 with highest honors. Betty Sue taught Latin, English and history at Skyline, Olympus and Granite High Schools, over a span of 20 years. She was a member of the Junior League of Salt Lake City, and was a skupporter of the Utah Oratorio Society and many charities.She also was a member of First Baptist Church and Christ United Methodist Church, where a service will be held in her memory at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 4.

Betty Sue is survived by her husband of 53 years, Harvey S. Ross; two daughters, Margaret Ann Bowman and Jeanne Ross Winograd; two granddaughters, Sarah and Julie Bowman; a sister, Sally S. Kappen.
