Parking Services officials for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have announced arrangements for free parking at several downtown lots for those attending the Churchs 170th Semiannual General Conference on Saturday and Sunday, 7-8 October.

Those attending are asked to car pool to relieve downtown traffic congestion. Participants traveling from the north are encouraged to use the 6th North off-ramp to access 300 West.

The parking lots will be available Saturday and Sunday morning starting at 7:30 a.m. An attendant will be at the parking facilities to aid in traffic control. Those participating may be asked to show their conference tickets at the parking entrances or when exiting the facility as a validation. The location of the parking entrances are as follows:

Main St. Annex Parking Lot

128 North Main

61 E. North temple (North of the Church Office Building), parking for people with disabilities is available

Church Historical Parking Facility

119 West North Temple (behind Church History Museum)

State Street Parking Lot

125 North State Street

2nd West Parking Lots

75 North 200 West

40 North 200 West

55 North 200 West

South Temple Parking Lot

250 West South Temple

Third West Parking Lot

60 North Third West

275 West North Temple

Parking lots are within short walking distance of Conference Center. In addition, shuttle service will be provided on North and South Temple between West Temple and Third West. These arrangements are being made to avoid on-street parking in front of homes in downtown residential areas.
