PLEASANT GROVE — Utah Community Credit Union has broken ground for its new location at 100 E. State. It will be the seventh branch for the credit union.
The credit union was formerly known as the Universal Campus Credit Union and served employees and students of Brigham Young University. This past year, UCCU changed its field of membership to allow any Utah County resident to open an account at the credit union. In response to the change in membership and continued growth, UCCU is expanding throughout the county.
The new office will open in July 2001. Utah Community Credit Union serves more than 70,000 members.
