Karl spent his life in the service of others. As a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, bishop and friend, he always put the needs and feelings of others before his own and made whoever was with him feel important and special. For Karl, service was its own reward. Only his Father in Heaven knows all the lives touched by Karl's service and sacrifice and all those whose loads were lightened by his caring and concern. Above the rest, Karl loved his Savior, his family, and his fellow men.

"Karl T" is survived by his wife, Susie; mother, June Davis: father, Thomas Burk; brother, Kenny; sisters, Karen (Lyle) LaFramboise, Kaye (Bobby) Shackelford, and Rennei (Bob) Coleman; and six wonderful children, Becky (Craig) Parry, Scott (Kim), Amanda (Jon) Clegg, Steven (Jennifer), Ryan, and Matthew, and six adoring grandchildren.

We love you our beloved husband, dad, and grandpa and look forward to being with you again. We know you will be cradled in the arms of a loving Heavenly Father until we meet again.
