One out of every three teenagers along the Wasatch Front listens to one of two radio stations -- KZHT (FM-94.7), or KUUU (FM-92.1).

These two stations account for just over 37 percent of radio listening among teens, 12-17, according to the latest Arbitron ratings. KZHT has a 23.5 percent audience share, and KUUU has 13.6 percent.KQMB (FM-102.7) is next at 9.8 percent and KXRK (FM-96.3) is fourth with 8.7 percent.

Rounding out the top 10 teen stations are: 5. (tie) KBER and KUBL (4.4); 7. (tie) KISN and KKAT (3.8); 9. KBEE (3.3); and 10. KODJ (2.7).

KZHT is also No. 1 with a little older audience, ages 12-24. There, the station has a smaller, 15 percent audience share, compared with KUUU's 10 percent. KXRK is third at 8.8 percent and KQMB fourth at 8.8 percent.

MARCUS RETURNS -- We may never know the real reason he was fired from KENZ's morning show last year. However, Marcus returned to the Salt Lake airwaves Tuesday on KQMB (FM-102.7).

Marcus is a part of the new "Star Morning Grind" program with Marci and Steven, 6-10 a.m. weekdays.

He seemed to have an instant chemistry with his co-hosts, and the threesome means there's never a silent moment on the program. Marcus hasn't lost his touch, and this new morning show doesn't sound like a rookie effort -- it's fast-paced and funny.

Marcus seems to be a lead team member, and he spent a lot of time this week just taking calls from fans who thought it was great to hear him again. With his familiar voice and instant audience, look for KQMB to jump in the ratings.

He was fired from KENZ last September and returns six months later.

Marcus was eventually replaced at KENZ by "Mr. West." Marcus has replaced "Brad" on the KQMB morning show.
