Evans & Sutherland Computer Corp. on Thursday announced it has been selected by the Navy to supply its ESIG-5500 image generation system for the S-3B flight training simulator at its Naval Air Station in North Island, Calif.

Under the terms of the $2.2 million contract, E&S will work with UNITECH to upgrade the flight simulator, which is designed to train pilots in all basic flight operations.
