Actor James Farentino has filed for divorce from his wife of six years, citing irreconcilable differences.

It's the second divorce filing of the marriage. In 1998, Stella Farentino moved to end the marriage, also citing irreconcilable differences; the petition later was withdrawn. The court papers filed Wednesday in Los Angeles indicate Farentino, 62, will pay unspecified spousal support to his estranged wife.
