Raymond Louis Bergman, age 83, passed away Thursday Dec. 13, 2001 in Murray, UT.
Ray was born May 9, 1918 in Salt Lake City to August Louis and Mabel Alquist Bergman. On December 8, 1954, he married Betty Jean Cottle in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. His three children and nine grand-child-ren were very special to him. His family always came first. Ray was the owner of Ray's Art & Frame for many years. He wrote as a hobby and many of his writings were published. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Betty of Midvale; three children, Anita Louise (Roger) Koch, Dorothy Anne (Steven) Voorhees of Gilbert, AZ, and Dean Louis (Mary Jo) Bergman of Atlanta, GA; nine grandchildren; one brother, Carl Bergman of Lynnfield, MA.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001 at 12 noon at the Midvale East 2nd Ward, 7250 South 300 East, where friends may call on Tuesday from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Funeral Directors, Holbrook Mortuary.
