Patricia Susan Darlington, our loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend passed away, at home surrounded by her family, Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, after an eight year struggle with pulmonary hypertension and congestive heart failure.

She was born in Payson, UT on Oct. 24, 1937 to James Reynolds Warner and Laura Kathryn Adelman. Pat attended Irving Jr. High and South High School. She married Robert L.

Darlington on Sept. 17, 1956 in California and spent the next 20 years following her husband "Bob" to places like Calif., Hawaii, Florida and the Philippines while he was enlisted in the Navy. In 1972 Pat and her husband co-founded Bob's Lock, Safe and Key in Hanford, CA. Then sold that successful business and moved to Utah in 1977 and began Bob's Lock, Safe and Key in West Valley City. She opened a couple of gift shops and was in various boutiques until her health worsened. She continued to be an integral part of Bob's Lock until her death.

Pat enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved the ocean and like to take trips to the coast every summer. She liked to just "get out" and would go the mall and ride around on her electric scooter. She would plan family "get-togethers" at every opportunity. Pat was very artistic and enjoyed water color and oil painting and all kinds of crafts. She collected Teddy Bears!

She had family and many friends in the Seventh Day Adventist Church and found her faith and courage through its teachings.

Her children were her life and she would do anything for them. She cherished and loved each of her nine grandchildren and her two great-grandchildren. We will all deeply miss her as will all that knew her.
