MOUNT JEWETT, Pa. (AP) — Ten people were injured during an explosion and fire at one of the largest particleboard manufacturing facilities in North America.
Five of the injured were hospitalized in critical condition Wednesday.
The explosion and fire occurred Tuesday night at the Temple-Inland Forest Products Corp. plant about 75 miles southeast of Erie and on the eastern edge of the Allegheny National Forest.

The explosion that started the fire happened near the plant's production line and blew out a section of a tin wall, Lafayette Township fire Chief Don Fowler said.
