RICHFIELD, UT--<! > Our kind, sweet, and gentle "Dad", grandfather, and great-grandfather, Leo Poulsen, 90, of Richfield, Utah, left this life peacefully, February 27, 2001, in Richfield, Utah.

He was born Sept. 20, 1910, in Richfield, Utah, to James P. and Mary Annie Ogden Poulsen.

He married Rachel Morrey, November 29, 1933, in the Manti LDS Temple. She preceded him in death April 5, 1990.

The great love of his life was his family. He enjoyed being involved in their activities and accomplishments. He also loved to raise a big garden. He took pride in providing fresh vegetables for his family and friends.

Leo believed in and appreciated hard work. His primary occupation was farming. He also worked for a time in road construction and as Sevier County road supervisor.

His family was blessed by his life, and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by daughters, Lorraine (Jack) Shipp, Joseph; Geraldine (Milton) Taft, Bicknell; seven grandchildren; 24 great-grand-children. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Rachel; son, Stan Lee Poulsen; eight brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2001, at 11 a.m. in the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 50 S. 100 W. in Richfield. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield, UT.
