NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Florida officials have decided not to pursue charges against country singer Andy Griggs after he and a fellow musician took an ambulance for a joyride.

Griggs and band member Kevin Weaver were arrested Feb. 16 in Tallahassee.

Griggs' record company RCA said Friday that both men had apologized for the incident and that Griggs had agreed to play a benefit concert last week for Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, which owned the ambulance.

Proceeds from the concert were donated to the hospital's charities, RCA said.
