Former President Bill Clinton began a four-day visit to Ireland with one of his favorite leisure activities: a round of golf.

Clinton greeted well-wishers at Farranfore Airport in County Kerry at midmorning Sunday, then headed for the golf course at Ballybunion for a game with former Irish foreign minister Dick Spring and two others.

Clinton, who visited Ireland three times while he was president, was asked by one onlooker why he kept returning.
