Daniel Dallin Floyd, our beloved son, brother, and uncle, completed his earthly mission at the tender age of 17, Saturday May 26, 2001.
Dan was born Mother's Day May 13, 1984, in Nampa, ID. He is the son of Terry and Brenda John-son Floyd. Danny was blessed with gifts and abilities that were so loved and appreciated by his family and friends. He was an active member of the Mountain View 2nd Ward. He was tall, handsome, and athletic. He had an uncanny sense of humor. He loved to play soccer with his brothers. He was nearly finished with his Junior year at West Jordan High School.
He is survived by his parents; four brothers and three sisters, Gabriel and Kellee Floyd, Lindsey and Jay Rosier, Olivia, Cecily Floyd and Spencer Reading, Samuel, Benjamin, Jordan; Blake Floyd, Tyler Rosier and Alexis Reading; grandparents, Whitney and Vera Floyd, Nampa, ID; Russell and Ruby Johnson, Melba, ID; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He has joined his Uncle Ben.
Services will be Thurs. 10 a.m. at the West Jordan Mountain View LDS Stake Ctr, 9000 S. 2850 W, where friends may visit with the family Wed. 6-8 p.m. and Thurs. before services, 9-9:45 am. A funeral will also be Fri. 12 noon, in the Deer Flat Stake Ctr, Deer Flat Road, Nampa, ID. Friends may visit with the family 11-11:45 a.m. prior to service. Dan will rest in Cloverdale Memorial Park (Fairview Ave), Boise, ID. Directors, McDougal Funeral Home.
