Cindy Lynn Timpson MacFarlane, 38, passed away May 27th, 2001 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center due to complications fol-lowing childbirth.

Cindy was born Jan. 23, 1963 in Salt Lake City to Donald and Beverly Timpson. She graduated from Olympus High School in 1981 where she participated in drama and concert choir. She attended Rick's College. Cindy married her eternal sweetheart, Rodger MacFarlane on June 5, 1984 in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Salt Lake several years before moving to their dream home in Heber. They have five children: Ashton-15, Brandon-13, KC-12, Sierra Dawn-5 and Jacob. Jacob continues his valiant struggle for life at Primary Children's Hospital. Cindy worked at Smiths' for 10 years - most recently at the Park City store. Cindy was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of the Millroad Ward in Heber and served in many capacities. Cindy enjoyed life in Heber to the fullest with her loving family in many activities including camping and fishing. She especially loved watching her boys participate in sport activities. Cindy had many talents in crafts and music and loved participating in the Promised Valley Production for two years. She also served as camp counselor, "Buffy" at Camp Oakcrest. Cindy was an awesome mother, wife, daughter and sister and was greatly loved by all.

Survived by loving husband, Rodger Kent MacFarlane, sons: Ashton David, Brandon LeRoy, KC Isaac and Jacob Rodger; daughter: Sierra Dawn; parents: Donald and Beverly Timpson; parents in-law: Verl and Janet MacFarlane; sister, Tricia Larsen Bridgewater (Craig); brothers, Joseph and James Timpson (Dianne), Salt Lake City, UT; brothers-in-law: Steve MacFarlane (Wendy), Idaho Falls, ID; and Mike MacFarlane (Chris), Syracruse, UT; eight nieces, nine nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 31st, 2001 - 12 noon in the Heber East Stake Center, 2395 South Mill Road, Heber City. Friends may call on Wednesday, May 30th from 7-9 p.m. at Olpin - Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 North Main Street, Heber City, and on Thursday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to the services at the LDS Chapel. Interment will be in the Heber City Cemetery.

A trust fund at Zions Bank has been set up for the children under the name "Cindy MacFarlane Children Trust".
