Our beautiful Cassidy was tragically taken from us on May 30, 2001.

Cassidy was born December 1, 1983. Cassidy completed her Junior year at Viewmont High School where she was an honor roll student. She was loved and cherished by all who knew her. Although she lived just seventeen short years, Cassidy loved life and lived it to the fullest.

Cassidy was a faithful member of the LDS church. She loved completing scrapbooks and water sports. She had many wonderful friends who brought an incredible amount of joy to her life. Cassidy was a sweet spirit who would do anything for those she loved. She loved her car, a 1968 VW Beetle which was a family heirloom and belonged to her great-grand mother. Cassidy wanted to be a neonatal nurse, but she didn't have that chance. Instead, she gave her organs so others could live.

Cassidy had two wonderful parents and a brother who loved her very much. She spent many hours with family and grandparents who also felt much joy in her presence. Cassidy will be greatly missed but her spirit will live on. She will never be forgotten and we will always remember her in our hearts.

She is survived by her parents, Todd and Colette Austin, her brother Chad, her grandparents Bruce and Leora Austin, Colleen Richins, Great-grandmothers Velma Hemmingsen, Blanch Richins and Mary Liston, Her aunts and uncles, Randy (Gloria) Austin, Jedd (Raquel) Austin, and Shane (Kathryn) Richins.
