Steven A. Stone, M.D., 47, died June 22, 2001 of a subdural hematoma in Salt Lake City.
Born Jan. 12, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Arvil G. and Melba Stone. Steve served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Southern Germany. He grad-uated Phi Kappa Phi from the University of Utah and the University of Utah School of Medicine. He did his internship at LDS Hospital and worked for I.H.C.
InstaCare until he opened a family practice in the Cottonwood Medical Center. He loved his family and his religion and held an unwavering testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Survived by a son, Daniel S. Stone, his parents, brothers and sisters, Ron (Robyn) Jay (Kris), Jeanne (Todd) Soper, Suzy (Tom) Livingston and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday, June 29, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the Old 10th Ward Chapel, 4th South and 8th East. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6:30-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, and at the ward Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Midway Cemetery, Midway, Utah.
