Argus Realty Investors LP has acquired the former University Club Building, a 24-story office tower in Salt Lake City.

The 217,035-square-foot building, 136 E. South Temple, was built in 1966 and has since undergone a $2.5 million renovation. The structure is 96 percent leased, according to Argus.

Argus paid $16 million for the building. The company, which specializes in purchasing institutional grade commercial real estate, is based in San Juan Capistrano, Calif.
