Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Calvin R. Hatch, age 78, passed away at home December 19, 2002.
He was born Aug 26, 1924 in Bountiful, UT to Ray Mann and Christie Jacobson Hatch. He graduated from Davis High School in 1942 and shortly thereafter joined the Air Force. He was proud to serve his country as a tail-gunner in World War II and flew in the B-17 Bomber. He worked at Hill Air Force Base in the repair hangers for 35 years. He married Minnie Leona Moss Aug 3, 1952 and maintained his devotion and love as a husband more than 50 years. He made a courageous endeavor of life to live in support of his beautiful wife and family.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie; brother, Hal Hatch, Ivin, UT; six children, David (Cindy) Barber, MO, Ann (John) Strickland, Woods Cross, Helen (Mark) Meier, Woods Cross, Ruth (Penny) Hatch, Woods Cross, Chris Wiseman, Bountiful, Ray M. (Melanie) Hatch, Layton; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two sisters.
Services will be Mon. Dec 23, 2002 1 p.m. Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main, where friends may call 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery. Online guest book and direction map: www.russonmortuary.com
