Our mother and friend, the lovely Linda Ann Nelson, 71, died February 25, 2002 of a stroke.
Born July 21, 1930 in Shelton, Washington. She is survived by her sisters: Fran (Russ) Lance, Dorothy (Duane) Lance and preceded in death by her brother, Fred Hall.
Married March 8, 1947 to Lee Carl Nelson of Great Falls, Montana, she is the mother of six children, Rande Lee Nelson (deceased); Sheila (Dave) Zolman, Taylorsville, UT; Sheryl (Bob) Scialfa, Arvada, CO; Shauna (Jim) Rohbock, Sandy, UT; Reece Nelson, Bountiful, UT; Sharla (Chris) Cenis, Lolo, MT. Her beautiful legacy lives on in her 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Linda was the owner of Linda's Reception Service in Great Falls and had the fine reputation as a gourmet cook and fabulous cake decorator. In 1995 she suffered a stroke while living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her son Reece has unselfishly dedicated his life to the care of his mother, moving her to Bountiful, Utah in 1998. Her family gives special thanks to Life Care Center of Bountiful for the exceptional care given to Linda and for their countless acts of kindness and service.
Her funeral will be held Wed. at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, 1 p.m. Viewing 12 to12:45 p.m.
