Our dear, vivacious Zina died January 29, 2002.
Born in Silver City, Utah on October 19, 1924. Last child of Perry B. and Zina Wilkins Fuller. Beloved adopted daughter of William E. and Ada Wilkins Evans. Preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Lavonia Fuller, L'Roy Fuller, Oscar "Occie" Evans, Boyd Evans, Dan Evans, Wilkins "Wicks" Evans, Naomi Fuller Dixon, Mary Fuller Carbine, Jenna Fuller Holmberg, and Marjorie Fuller Bayes. The sisters are now together again.
Married George E. Enger April 2, 1943. He preceded her in death on August 7, 1971. Her grandson Etienne also preceded her in death.
Survived by her sons George E. Enger (Seattle); Terry Enger (Susanville, CA.) and Craig M. Lee (Salt Lake). Also survived by her daughters Ann Enger Lee (Salt Lake); Lois Dedman Enger (Seattle); Jackie Pierce Enger (Susanville, CA) and her sister-in-law, Donna N. Enger (Salt Lake). Grandchildren, Melissa, Jason, Jaime, Jeffry, Aaron and Collin and her great granddaughter Eddera, will miss their grandmother very much.
Zina was the first woman in the Great Salt Lake Council of Boy Scouts to receive "Outstanding Cubber of the Year". After the death of her husband, Zina entered the University of Utah, graduating in 1979 with her degree in Social Work. She was a remarkable person who loved and cared for all, pursuing careers with the Utah State Board of Education and the Utah Department of Social Services until her retirement.
At the time of her death, Zina was a resident of Friendship Manor where she was known as "The Hugger". The family thanks all her friends at the Manor for the wonderful companionship they gave her, Dr. Anna Beck (and her staff, Gene and Karen), and Dr. Tiffani Parker.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002 at noon at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S Highland Dr., where friends and family may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
