Vincent Mele, Jr., 80, died February 3, 2002 of causes incident to age.
He was born June 22, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York to Vincent Mele, Sr. and Lena Pisano Mele. He married Mildred Miller June 26, 1954. He worked for United Airlines for 34 years, and was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the Air Force.
His survivors are Mildred, Parker CO; children: Diana (Scott) Leiter, American Fork; Douglas Mele, Chicago, IL; Wendy (Frank) Stofa, Parker, CO.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 8th, at 2 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 N., American Fork, where friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and for one hour prior to the services Friday. Burial, American Fork Cemetery, with Military Rites by VFW District #4.
