Stampin' Up!, the Salt Lake-based manufacturer and distributor of decorative rubber stamps and accessories, has announced that it will open a separate company, Stampin' Up! Canada, in April.
Dale Hampshire will be general manager of the Canada office, which will be headquartered in Calgary.
"We have been anticipating opening Stampin' Up! Canada for many years, and we're so excited that the time is finally here," said Shelli Gardner, Stampin' Up! co-founder and chief executive officer, in a press release. "For the last year and a half we have been conducting in-depth research and preparing the business structure for the Canada company."
Stampin' Up! Canada will offer existing U.S. product lines, with prices converted into Canadian dollars. Products also will have localized packaging.
Stampin' Up! USA had sales of more than $114 million last year and features a sales force of more than 22,000 demonstrators.
