Clifford Shelby Lowe, 87, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away March 21, 2002 in Sandy, Utah.
He was born November 28, 1914 in Elsinor, Utah to Clifford Joseph and Flossie Geneva Anderson Lowe. He married Katherine Mary Haslam in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 2, 1935. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Clifford was an accountant and office manager for Brookfield Products and was a member of the Professional Accounting Association. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple and served in various positions at the ward and stake level, including serving in Bishoprics, Quorum leadership positions, Stake Executive Secretary, and various teaching callings, which he dearly loved. He was devoted to his sweetheart, Katherine, and family.
Clifford is survived by his children, Max (Laura) of West Jordan, Utah; Jim (Faye) of Pittsburg, California; Kaylene (Robert) Thurston of Saratoga, California and Scott (Kay) of Arkansas; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 25, 2002, at 12 Noon in the Mountain View 3rd Ward, 1889 South 1700 East. Friends may call Sunday 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple and Monday 11:00-11:45 a.m. at the Ward. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
