Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Dee Butler, passed on to her Heavenly home Saturday morning, March 30, 2002. Our hearts are greatly saddened by her passing. She was the light of all of our lives and will be greatly missed. No other person did more to show those around her the true meaning of love and compassion.

Dee was the daughter of Ruby Watkins and Ralph Buckley and was born July 27, 1926 in Provo, UT. She lived in Ely, NV and attended grade school and high school graduating in 1945. She also attended BYU in 1946.

Dee married Jack Butler Aug 28, 1947 in Ely, NV and lived in McGill where they had three children. In 1953 the family moved to Salt Lake City and made their home. In 1958 a fourth child was born.

Dee was a member of the First Baptist Church in Salt Lake City. She was also a member of PEO Chapter S and Eastern Star. She was involved in Job's Daughters, Cub Scouts and PTA and also provided many volunteer service hours at the University Hospital, which was a special experience in her life.
