Wendell H. Richins, age 83, passed away April 13, 2002 in Salt Lake City.

Born February 19, 1919 to Orson C. and Harriet Hunter Richins. Married Phyllis Trilby Weeks on April 6, 1940 in Salt Lake City, UT. She preceded his death December 11, 1997. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Dad loved sports, traveling with his family, horses and fishing. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his children, Connie (Paul) Engh of Salt Lake; Paulette DeRosier of West Jordan; Barry (Terry) Richins of Murray; J. Dee (Christine) Richins of Sandy and Lee (Lynette) Richins of Murray; brothers Orson Martel of Salt Lake and Austin of Pocatello, Idaho; sisters Louise (Charles) Tennant of Colorado Springs and Rachel Klemme of Salt Lake.

In addition to his wife, Wendell is preceded in death by brother, Harold and

sisters, Verness Carson and Claire Adam.

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, April 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Rd., Taylorsville where friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service.
