Families are Forever <! >
Tevita Kali Fanamaka Kinikini, 71, a loving father, grandfather, and friend, returned home to our Heavenly Father on April 18, 2002 surrounded by his family.
Tevita was born on November 10th, 1930 in Uiha Ha'apai Tonga to the late Tevita Muli Kinikini and Le'o Langi. He married his loving wife, the late Amalani Taufatofua, on June 20th, 1949 and was later solemnized in the Los Angeles Temple on July 17, 1971, Tevita Kali Fanamaka Kinikini will be remembered for sharing his talents through music for the church, community and amongst his family and friends.
Due to his health, he was unable to attend church meetings. Therefore he looked forward to visits from his home teachers, members of his ward and stake. He did not allow his physical incapability's to distract his teaching of Jesus Christ to his children and grandchildren. He was caring with every phone call and smile he shared. He will be missed.
He is survived by three children, daughter Ane Petiola (Filikisi Hafoka), son, Kaluseti Fanamaka (Selemana Suliafu), daughter Elenoa Funaki (Saia Lao), 16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, brother, Taniela, Senituli, and Keisini, and sisters, 'Auhangamea, Vika Fatafehi and
Tofilamoa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tevita Muli Kinikini and Le'o Langi, along with brothers, Kime, Takapautolo, Paula Langi, and Pita.
The Kinikini family would like to thank the Cannon 2nd Ward members, the countless nurses and doctors with IHC, LDS hospital, and the Salt Lake Clinic for your services.
Friends and families are invited to attend funeral services, Thursday, April 25th at 7 p.m. and Friday April 26th at 10:30 a.m. at the Redwood Memorial Estates.
