Our beloved loved father, son, brother and friend David Lynn

Gregerson passed away at his home April 20, 2002.

He was born August 30, 1963 in Gunnison, Utah. David was preceded in death by his brother, Owen Marc Gregerson, his grandparents, William Nels and Verna S. Christiansen and Edna J. Gregerson.

He is survived by his daughter Brittney Lee Gregerson, his wife Pamela Rae Gregerson, his parents Dr. Ned O. Gregerson and Dixie Ann Gregerson of Cedar City. Utah; his brothers, Dr. Gary Ned Gregerson (Lisa) of Nampa, Idaho; Ryan N. Gregerson (Erin) of Cedar City, Utah; his sister, Kaisa Ann Gregerson of Cedar City, Utah; his grandfather, Owen Louis Gregerson, of St. George, Utah; five nieces and three nephews.

David was an Elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and as a youth was active in the Aaronic Priesthood. He obtained the rank of Eagle Scout with two palms. He loved the outdoors and the mountains. Sitting among the aspens, on the porch of the family cabin or wandering the meadows were his favorite places. He said he found his 'peace' just being there. He loved to hunt (more for the fellowship), ski, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, hiking, and tennis, which in his later years, was curtailed.

David has spent most of his life in Southern Utah. As a youth he was on the all-star baseball and basketball little league teams. He graduated from Cedar High School where he participated in baseball, basketball, football and tennis. He attended four years at Southern Utah State College, and by the age of 18 had his real estate license and by 21 was owner/ broker of Carte Blanche Real Estate in Brian Head and St. George, Utah. In 1983, during his early college years, from a work-related accident, David was destined to live the remainder of his life with successively increasing, constant pain. He later went through 26 major surgeries in major medical centers throughout Utah and the USA.

David was a true example for his daughter, family and friends in that he recognized his faults and weaknesses and tried to overcome them, but he never embellished or even mentioned his true strengths.

David was a gentle man who wore his compassion and love openly. He was devoted to his daughter Brittney. She was his life and his "Princess". He never stopped loving Pamela, and was constant in his loyalty, love, concern and generosity to his parents, siblings and grandparents. If David had anything, it was yours. He gave of himself freely and anything he had was given without expectation of return. Especially, to his sister Kaisa, he gave his heart. They were devoted to one another, best friends and confidants helping each other though "thick and thin". They were always there for each other and knew it.

Even though he lived in pain, he tried to hide it from others and put on a "good face" to those who knew him. He had the loyalty to his family of Joseph, the courage of David and the trials and patience of Job, but he could not endure any more. . . we will miss him so.
