Robert D. (Bob) Gaddis, born August 4, 1933, oldest son of Glen D. and Franc Ida Gaddis, died at his home in Honolulu, HI July 17, 2002.

Bob graduated from South High School in Salt Lake City, attend-ed the University of Utah where he affiliated with Kappa Sigma fraternity and then graduated from the Univer-sity of San Francisco.

He lived in the Bay area before moving to Honolulu. Bob had an incredible sense of humor and entertained all of those around him. His goals were to be the best-dressed skier on the mountain and to never have a bad hair day. Bob did what he wanted to and how he wanted to do it. He loved to golf and ski. He was forced to give up skiing when he was diagnosed with emphysema. Bob would warn about the dangers of smoking and encouraged anyone he knew to quit or better yet never start.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin; brother, Don; and special friend and ex-wife, Annabel Kelley. He is survived by his wife, Carren; children, Kurt, Kraig, Heidi; brothers, Jim, Warren, Dick; and aunt, Mary Hoffman.
