Norman H. Wood, 75, resident of Woodburn, OR, died Friday, August 23, 2002 in Tualatin, Oregon.
He was born on February 9, 1927 in Pamona, Missouri, the son of Ollie Thomas and Gertie May Williams Wood. He married Carol Ann Weinberg in Mountain Home, Arkansas on October 27, 1948.
He resided in Santa Clara, Utah for many years. He was employed as a printer at a corrugated box factory. Later he was an electrical inspector for the City of Santa Clara. He worked at his position for 15 years retiring in 1993. He resided in Cottage Grove, Oregon before moving to Woodburn, Oregon in July of 1994. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Surviving are his wife Carol of Woodburn; daughters Joyce Halterman of Murray, UT; Doris Perry of Salem, OR; Cheryl Marvel of Yucca Valley, CA; Teresa Dix of West Jordan, UT; sons Phillip of Glendale, AZ; Thomas of Roy, UT; Eric of Glendale, AZ; sisters Arlie Frazee of Oakdale, CA and Helen Hook of Megalia, CA; 19 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 31st at 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Rd., Taylorsville, where friends may call on Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service.
