Jim Rizzi has been named the new publisher of Salt Lake City Weekly.
Rizzi most recently served as associate publisher and vice president of sales and marketing for the newspaper. He joined City Weekly in August 2002 after 20 years with Phoenix-based New Times.
Former publisher and founder John Saltas will serve in the newly created executive editor position and will pursue additional corporate and personal interests.
